Set : GEAR UP Program
GEAR UP (Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs) is a federally funded competitive grant program. There are ten GEAR UP programs in Washington State serving a combined 35,000 students in 73 school districts statewide.
GEAR UP programs work with educators across the state to help middle and high school students get ready for college. GEAR UP focuses on students from underserved schools, helping student and families to prepare for college and gain access to financial aid.
Washington State GEAR UP is a partnership of the Washington Student Achievement Council, the College Success Foundation, Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction, Washington State Employee Credit Union, Seeds Training, Challenge Applications, and FOCUS Training.
