 The Washington Student Achievement Council administers the 12th Year Campaign to provide high school seniors with support for two important processes: applying to colleges and applying for financial aid.

High School Graduation Standards

The State Board of Education website provides information on the Washington State High School graduation requirements for each graduating class.

The Washington Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction's (OSPI) website offers additional details on the state's graduation requirements, as well as information about the High School and Beyond Plan.

Do you know the steps you need to take to apply for college? Do you need money for college? The 12th Year Campaign can help you with two important steps you need to take to go to college, applying for college and financial aid. The first step is to file your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or Washington Application for State Financial Aid (WASFA). You can do this at a College Goal Washington event. College Goal Washington is a free, on-site program that helps students and families complete their financial aid applications.

Military Information

The military can offer a diverse and challenging set of experiences and skill development. Along with travel opportunities, it also helps pay for part of your education. 

To join the military, you need to be physically fit and have good grades. Skill in math, engineering, science, and foreign languages can help you advance.

Ideally, a career should match a person's interests, abilities, and values. The following career-planning resources can be useful in identifying possible career pathways.
